Who We Are

Daniel Christensen, Associate Planner

Daniel Christensen has a broad background in planning, with experience in land use, real estate development, market analysis, economic development, strategic visioning, public involvement, park and recreation planning, policy analysis, and feasibility studies. Mr. Christensen earned his Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon. He also possesses a Bachelor’s of Science in Community Development from Portland State University.

Selected Professional Experience

  • Assisted in coordinating and executing a public outreach process for the City of Beaverton’s Community Vision. Developed outreach materials and conducted small-group facilitation with community and stakeholder groups.

  • Conducted a preliminary land use assessment for the potential development of approximately 600 acres of privately-owned land in Trout Lake, Washington.

  • Conducted research on Regional Collaboration in Transportation and Economic Development for the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Honors/Community Service

  • Member – American Planning Association, Oregon Chapter
