Transportation-Human Services Coordination Study – continued

IMG_1591COG served as project manager for an evidence-based analysis of coordination of the funding and provision of public transportation and human services among state and local agencies and transit and human service providers. The study identified policies, programs and services that limit access to transportation services by affected citizens.

COG researched the state of coordination in Oregon and nationally and developed recommended strategies to improve coordination at the local and regional provider level, as well as among state agencies.  As a project follow-up, COG is leading two regional pilot projects to further assess WES commuter rail at Beaverton - TriMet Flickropportunities to improve public transportation-human services coordination.
