COC regularly manages complex, multi-disciplinary projects. We have a strong commitment to each of our clients, providing high quality work, responsive service and an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. Our project managers are adept at managing staff, tasks and subconsultants at any given time. They are extremely responsive to each client’s needs, understanding the necessity to balance consistency with flexibility and address unforeseen circumstances with new ideas or approaches. We excel at completing projects on time and within budget and utilize the following principles to ensure client satisfaction and success:

  • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for staff and consultants, including a project schedule with measurable milestones.
  • Be available on short notice for consultation and discussion on specific issues.
  • Hold periodic meetings, telephone or e-mail conversations with clients to determine satisfaction with the work in progress and any needed changes.
  • Regularly update clients about progress in meeting deadlines and tasks required to stay on track.
  • Review work progress carefully to make sure time expended matches available resources and take corrective measures when needed.
  • Adhere to the highest professional standards.
  • Be open to innovative and creative ideas and approaches.
  • Keep complete records of all hours and expenses and provide detailed project invoices. We do not incur any additional fees or expenses without prior authorization.
  • Ensure that all work is reviewed by at least one other team member, including an in-house editor.
  • Provide state-of-the-art graphics and other support as needed.
